Help with Sunday School

Sunday school will be running during the main Sunday Service in Term Time and will not run on the first Sunday of the month as that’s when we have our Family Communion Service. We will, of course be relying on volunteers to lead and support the sessions and if you feel you have the skills and calling to do this then please contact us to start the conversation (be aware that Safer Recruitment and DBS checks will apply). Children aren’t just the Church of the Future, they’re very much the church of the present: Here and now. We’ve had a longstanding reputation for excellent children’s engagement here at St John’s, and it’s very much our conviction that our’s is a church where members of every age group can flourish in our discipleship.

Flower Arrangers Wanted

We are very grateful to all who have provided flower arrangements at St John’s over the past few weeks. While we have no formal flower rota, anyone who wishes to create an arrangement for the church is welcome to do so and all efforts will be gratefully received, please contact us for support with resources (Oasis Blocks, Vases etc). Water for ‘topping up’ can be found inside the Vicar’s Stall if you are in the church and feel that existing displays need tending to. The PCC kindly ask that each arranger takes responsibility for the removal of the display when the flowers have died.
